Maharajas Express hosted the Club des Chefs (CCC) club of Presidential Chef from the globe on-board Maharajas’ Express in October 2016 over a sumptuous on-board lunch. The club of elite chefs of the heads of states from various countries like USA, UK, France, Italy, Iceland, Monaco etc. were given warm welcome on-board with a show around of the luxurious train. The Chefs were accompanied by Mr. Montu Saini Executive Chef to President of India.

Jewels of India: A new majestic itinerary added to the Maharajas’ Express

‘The Jewels of India’ is the sixth itinerary added to the Maharajas’ Express starting from National Capital New Delhi. This tour (7 days/6 Nights) shall cover six eminent tourist places which includes Agra, Ranthambore, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Osiyan and Udaipur. During the journey, the guests will get to see mesmerizing monument Taj Mahal - one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Fatehpur Sikri - the capital of the Mughal Emperor Akbar - at Agra on day 2, while safari at Ranthambore National Park at Sawai Madhopur on day 3. For the next 3 days, they will enjoy visiting Jodhpur, Osiyan & Udaipur.

Presidential Suite - a journey in royal style

The Presidential Suite is one of the five room categories on-board the Maharajas’ Express. Build on an entire rail carriage (covered area 448 Sq. Ft.), Presidential Suite incorporates a master bedroom, a separate sitting-cum-dining room and bathroom with shower and bathtub, a twin bedroom and bathroom with shower. The Maharajas’ Express Presidential Suite is the most expensive room category with prices ranging from USD 12,900 to USD 23,700 depending on the itinerary and it is one of its kinds of cabin.

Traveling in the Maharajas’ Express itself is a royal feeling but it becomes more grandiloquent when travelled in palatial Presidential Suite.
