Maharaja Express is owned and operated by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) that offering five perfectly crafted itineraries across the length and breadth of the country. Show casing the product to the World Maharajas’ Express reached the frontiers of Russia and Germany attracting the attention of travel enthusiasts from the Russia and CIS countries along with & Germany and Scandinavian countries. The main events of MITT, Moscow and ITB Berlin event received a good response at these shows, and leading and prestigious names of the travel industry showed great interest towards this HIGH END luxury train from INDIA and its offerings. Many leading tour operators had shown interest to operate Charter & group departures for the season 2015-16 and further.
HOLI CELEBRATION ON BOARD THE MAHARAJAS’ EXPRESS
Holi is the most colorful festival of India and is celebrated by people across the country. The festival offered the passengers of Maharajas’ Express so much to do on board and off board the Train that it was a never ending day and guests wanted more of it every hour. Holi was celebrated on the 6th march 2015 in the Royal gardens of the Princely family of Balasinor. The guests were provided Indian attire to dress into and play with herbal colors and flowers. They danced on Hindi Bollywood songs. It was amazing to see guests from the far ends of the globe mingle and revel in this riot of colors which seemed never to end.
